Layering System

Layering System:

On a bash game there are three layers to every play.

The first layer or Line of Scrimmage

Will consist of a battle between the offensive and defensive players at the line of scrimmage. If the offensive team wins this battle by having a higher power than the defense the play will continue, if the defense wins the play would stop.

The second layer or Action layer

In this layer the play continues where the last one ended, it’s where most of the development of the play will take place, whether it's a passing play or a running play, the defense has to do everything they can to stop the players at all cost!

The third and last layer or Conclusion layer

This level represents the final outcome of the play, whether it's a run after a catch or run after making the first defenders miss on a running play. This level will determine whether the final number of yards advanced and if the play results in a touchdown, field goal, or even a turnover.

Summary

The amount of yards advanced or pushed back by is determined by the power difference on these layers.

If at any point the defense has more power than the offense, the next layers won't take place. If the difference is high enough, that play could result in a sack, fumble or interception!

After each layer it will get harder and harder for the offense to succeed.

Will you be able to overpower your opponents?
